Michel Dusariez has a gift, precious among all. It is to perceive what we the common mortals ignore. Yet, he is not a magician. Simply a photographer and the images he captures do really belong to the reality domain. His gift comes from his view on our lives, being everyday happening, beautiful or tragic, with the sensitive eyes of the artist. Who does not know the Brussels City Hall Square or the Brooklyn Bridge, Epinal images printed in continuous, seen an seen again. But, look at them with the eyes of Michel Dusariez…He shows things “differently” because he chose to place himself in the heart of his subject rather than facing it. And so, he overturns our perspectives, our certainties; there, where you only did see the everyday life, the commonplace, Michel Dusariez, rivets someone’s attention, the surprising, the contrasts, the unexpected.
